Cerber is a ransomware-type malware that infiltrates systems, encrypting various file types including .jpg, .doc, .raw, .avi, etc. Cerber adds a  .cerber  extension to each encrypted file. Following successful infiltration, Cerber demands a ransom payment to decrypt these files.
